Introducing the Fertilizer Recycling System: a revolutionary way to save money Fertilizer Recycling Research for Industrial Crops Up to 50% of applied nitrogen fertilizer can be lost through combined leaching and volatilization, with roughly 10–30% lost to ammonia (NH₃) volatilization and 10–20% or more lost via nitrate leaching.
